The new arena of Ultracapacitors fits in with our expertise to enable successful implementation of this technology in applications requiring high energy storage with fast charge times and application specific discharge times. YEG can offer customers capacitor sizing to optimise the number of individual cells or modules to give the best cost/performance based on the application’s requirements. From basic repetitive to very complex charge/discharge power or current profiles YEG can simulate the energy storage system as a bank of series/parallel cells or modules based upon Maxwell’s comprehensive parameter models for each Ultracapacitor. This customer service enables the application to be designed with a high degree of operational certainty.
