Efficently Storing Energy
To store energy as efficiently as possible several devices have been developed.
Energy can not be created but it can be transformed
To get high storage efficiency the energy form should be stored ideally without or with a minimum of transformation!
What type of electrical energy storage systems are there?

A good method to display and compare these systems is using the Ragone chart. The energy density is expressed as the ratio of energy mass (or Volume) The power density is expressed as the ratio of power mass (or Volume) The energy is correlated to the power by the time (or time constant) The pairs (dE;dP) are then plotted producing the Ragone chart
